couldn't the home page and news page be combined to be the first page to show up when visiting SWC?

Also can there be more tabs at the top, so not to have to drop down a menu so often?

Just wondering.
Sometimes when SWC loads slow, theres usaly 3 rows of tabs at the top for a short duration, and it got me thinking, cause it looked alot easier to see whats here.

Anyhow, thats me being bored and helpful at the same time.

Hmm, well I'd kinda like to leave the homepage as it is and I think the tab/menu items are dependent upon text size, if I wanted to cram more items/pages into the top tabs I'd have to make the text size really tiny. I know what you mean by when the page is loading and the top menu isn't completely filled yet, annoys me too lol.

The way the forum and site are right now is probably how they will be for the foreseeable future.
Don't hesitate to continue to add your input though, I appreciate it. I'm kinda just in maintenance mode right now for the forum and site, build mode has pretty much been put on hold. Between working a physical job 10+ hours a day, 11 month old son and a pregnant wife there's not much SW energy left in the tank, even my poor ol' dog is feeling left out haha.

I kinda wish this place had more active users so I could take a step back from things, I worry that if I do that though, that the tiny community that is here would disperse, SW is an awesome game and it needs to thrive! Then again I've pretty much been saying that for 20 years. When!? When does the thriving start, lol.

alright, and I know what you mean by taking a step back from things. I do it now and then these days. Right now I'm determining (via forum post at RTCM) if i should keep pumping time and energy into RTCM right now or go do other projects more so.

I don't think the game will thrive again, it will get used though by stragglers.
