I think you should update the links to the strategies and to some maps. Many links are broken.
If others have stuff to add, feel free to reply too.

yeah ... the sw world turns pretty slow these days ... life has me busy with other troubles/joys for the time being ... I think I may have lost the tactics texts which make up the tactics or "strategies" page ... they might be on a cd around here ........... Ive had this site up for a good 6 or 7 years now , so links get broken sometimes when other sites die ... for instance my old old webpage which I had several things like some maps and sections of sw-central stored on(linked to). This is the creator of sw-central .. - Robman

Yeah, I hear you. Real life often comes between this hobby. I just wish there was a site where the SW fans still somewhat loyal would find their way.
Did you guys play on Kali? How did it work, did you have any lag or such?

from what I remember kali was ok , and sw always just depends on your connection ... its not that demanding of a game , lol .. I always had dial up and kali worked ,,, back in the day I got hooked up with some serialz .. I even made an Sw-Kali webpage in the evolution to Sw-Central ... I think that page is dead now ...

Reviving a thread from 2006 If anyone has ever wondered what the analytics(stats) of the site are looking like these days. Half the battle with having a website is getting the name out there and also having folks return to the site. Here's the stats of the site and forum for April 2014. Site Page views: Unique Visitors Forum Graph Forum Hits Hits took off pretty good the later end of the month it seems. As always, help Spread the word about Sw and SWC! Let's help the community grow. *edit: I found out what the star rating means. It's a thread threshold meter. Posts New Member = 1 star = 0 Junior Member = 2 star = 50 Full Member = 3 star = 100 Senior Member = 4 star = 250 Legend = 5 star = 500

I've changed the forum icons. I will fix them up at a later date when I have the time to get the transparent background function working properly as it was so obviously screwed up by microsoft in the windows vista/7/8 versions of paint... bravo .. bravo. edit: So I kept on playing around and have created some decent icons, the only one I think needs more work is the red/black yingyang, could use a transparent background. For sticky posts, I have the sticky bomb icon which I thought turned out well and looks cool, lol. Had to resize all the images and touch them up. A higher quality white/black yingyang would also be a better touch. Until those changes are made I think it adds some spice to the forum

I ditched the "karma System"(Upvote/downvote,) it wasn't necessary or used.

Perhaps a good way to increase visior would be to include an section for the Shadow Warrior 2013 and another one for the Shadow Warrior 2 soon to come. SW2 will have multiplayer so that would be a good way to create a comunity and at the same time to introduce new generations to the classic Shadow Warrior. I wouldn´t mind collect material of both games...
What do you think?

Perhaps In the future, as it stands right now I haven't even played the new Shadow Warrior games and therefore I know nothing about them, lol. I kind of like having the site just Sw-1997 specific for now and for the moment I'm pretty busy with work, Fall is always a busy time for me.
I agree it's probably a good idea to roll with the times and include the new shadow warrior games into things but I'm still undecided on it.
Are there any sites that are really active with the new Sw games?

Besides duke4 or steam forum, not very much: www.google.cl/?gfe_rd=cr&ei=GzwhVveRGtXVxASKh5qgCw&gws_rd=ssl#q=shadow+warrior+2013+forumOnly threads on Shadow Warrior 2013... but not dedicated sites like this place. I saw it more as a way to drive more traffic and eventually more players.

Looks like TBNS.net has finally gave up the ghost. That was the host for the original Sw-Central website, in the history section on this site, you can see the images no longer function I'm not sure if it will come back, but it had a good run, lol. I wasn't able to access the editor for years because the interface was broken.

Oh.. Thanks for keeping this website/forum alive, i think, even if the forum is not active, it's important to have a source of informations for shadow warrior, a website where people can download the custom maps/expansions and a forum to ask some questions! I really don't want see this kind of website die.... Im gonna re-play with Shadow Warrior users maps (there is still some i havent tried!) Shadow Warrior 1997 Power!

If you view the forum and SWC website on your android mobile device in desktop mode, the chrome browser colour will turn red for the forum and black for the website, looks pretty cool. Here's the forum numbers from May 27 2017 to June 26 2017. SWC #s

How about a 'Port Enhancer Section'. For like voxels, textures and sprites, etc that have been upscaled or added for use only for the newly programmed ports that support such things?
