Is 3DRealms still actually selling Shadow Warrior as indicated on this page? swcentral.weebly.com/how-to-play.htmlIt goes to the 3dr website for 7 bucks, Is that for a CDROM or Digital Download? |

Pretty sure. The 3D Realms image is a link to their store page for the game. It probably just gets you the same things you would get off the CDROM (game data, executable. soundtrack), IDK why it wouldn't.

Yup, but steam is bloated ware, no good. Better to get it from 3DR.

SW classic is free on GOG and Steam, just take the SW.GRP file out of either of them and use it with a source port like SWP if you wish.

Actually, icecoldduke's port is getting good enough to the point that I'd almost recommend for it to be your go-to Shadow Warrior port. It has polymer (3d dynamic lighting), no save corruption, HRP compatibility, working fog, and a lot of modding capability. Once it has a few more bug fixes and the sprites have their polymer light set up automatically, it'll come real close to SWP on my list of favorites. |

What ever happen with ICeColdDuke's SW port? Did the thugs intervene cause they where jealous again? and asked him to stop making it?

Hmmm, All I remember is his old Duke port or something that he didn't finish, but made progress on. I even think some code made it into EDuke.
I'm on no sleep, so possibly some other projects then you say? What else did he abandon in the past?

He abandoned Heretic polymer and he abandoned PolymerNG Shadow Warrior for quite a while before he started working on it again and disappeared.
That's all I know he's abandoned, but with the way everyone on the forums talks about him, I get the impression he's abandoned a lot more stuff, it's kinda what he's known for.
