the ninja voxels look really cool, but they also look a little inorganic and stiff
i can tell its definitely not easy to voxelize monsters xd
I agree I need to polish the color and those odd black dots after rotating them with MagicaVoxel. In many cases the distortion caused by rotating in magic voxel makes them look stiff as you mentioned. Another reason could be the animation frames, for the gait (walkin sequence) only 4 main sprites were used (not including the ones of diferent angles and viewpoints), if they have used more for the sequence perhaps the movement could be more lively and less stiff. I guess I am reaching the limit with this voxel pack project

Robman, Ninja, Corvin and rest of the team, I did a quick update of the link, fixed the voxfil file and retouched a little bit the ninjas.

Hi Mxrtxn. Does this work with DOS SW, anymore? Thanks for continued work! Unfortunately, I no play anymore. The ninjas have a rare "bug" when they shoot at you using the DOS SW. However if you use the DOS with BuildGDX as a port, the bug disappears.

i made 1 caltrop frame a while ago and it didnt look very good. i dont know where it is right now but i dont think it should go in the voxel pack anyway xd

Hi, yeah, I joined SW Voxel Pack as well after seeing the quality of many voxels or more like the lack of it. Suffice to say, the latest Mxrtxn's voxels are fine. But the oldest ones were just ugly. No, I mean it. Now if you compare the quality to Powerslave, Duke Nukem, Ion Fury or Blood voxels pack, you'd see the huge difference in quality. And I am not the only person who noticed that. Now, I understand that by saying that, I am rude and harsh. This is the reason I wanna help. So the goal of mine is to review all so far voxels and either update shading, shape or both at once (in that case I just do the voxel from scratch). "Long" time ago, fgsdfs created a github repository github.com/fgsfds/Shadow-Warrior-Voxel-Pack for SW voxels which was basically supposed to support BuildGDX and VoidSW (Raze is supported now as well). But soon after the creation of that repository, fgsdfs stopped updating that (he actually has stopped recently working on any custom voxels for any pack, life I guess). Anyway I asked him to give me full access to that repository, so I don't have to create pull requests. After getting the access, I updated the repo with latest voxels and started doing my goal. I'd say it's quite advanced at this point. And hey, I started adding custom voxels as well. I like SW as well, so what the hell, why not . If someone doesn't know me, well... I am just a grey person, nothing more or less. I just happen to know how to create voxels (the story is quite funny to me if you wanna know it). If it's a flat object placed on the floor... how come it's rendered as a voxel? Is it SWP I never used in my life?

Is the same thing that happnened when I replaced the magazine with the gameboy voxel. Remember? I am using VoidSW. However it would be the same if it where BuildGDX, SWP etc etc...

I know the dog is yellow, however, there are 4 sprites of the same dog statue (blue, red, yellow, green) Seems it only appears in Level 4. Do you remember seeing this one or any other of the dog statues in other level of SW or the addons?
P.S. Had to switch the orientation of the voxel to make it look correctly. (probably map issues)

iirc floor sprites in DOS SW cannot be voxels (and some source ports copy that behavior), but im not sure why that was

it usually just works because most sprites use their sprite angles properly even if they dont have to (bullet shell sprites for example) really feels like SW was meant to be totally voxelized

I originally disabled that voxel because the game used the same sprite when having the same light upsidedown: I guess only modifying the original game you can fix that, right?
